Mike Williams PD

Quite a lot of Public Domain software for the BBC was written by Mike Williams of MRM Software. Mike Williams also went by the name of Mike Goldberg and submitted a huge number of machine code games to the 80's magazines such as The Micro User, Acorn Computing, etc.
In 2020, a whole swathe of his development discs, cassettes and notes found their way onto eBay and were purchased by collectors who managed to recover hundreds of games, demos, pictures and other artefacts from them. This is a complete archive of all of these artefacts, divided up by "type". i.e. all the demos are segregated onto Demo Discs, all the games onto Game Discs, etc, etc. They also have a menu describing in a few words what the files do. Whilst some of the games and demos are available elsewhere, there are about a hundred new programs scattered amongst them all. CJR: Thanks to Dave Edwards for compiling this section, including these descriptions. ADFS versions of the discs where available are included with the DFS versions. Dave sent me but I have not included here downloads of discs 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 in the catalogue as they are not suitable for children.
