Master 512

The discs in the 512 section are for a Master with a 512 board fitted and require the GEM discs and sometimes a BASIC.

They will work in an emulator such as Beebem running DOS+ (enable Master 512 Second Processor in the Hardware>second Processor options with GEM disc 1 in the drive).

You will find a very good page of help for the GEM discs and the Master 512 here.

Where you see entries that state 'BASIC required' : Try one of these BASICS.

Here is a genuinely empty 720k DOS image for use as a save disc or whatever, hex edited with zeroes.

512 BBC BASIC v4.61 by Richard J Russell - A full implementation of BBC BASIC for the 80x86 processor, marketed commercially for the PC. This version is specific to the Master 512 coprocessor and DOS Plus, but is otherwise complete. The standard version gives a full 64K segment for workspace, a second version, BIGBASIC, allows for much larger programs. 512BBCBASIC is fully compatible with standard BBC BASIC and implements a range of '*' commands as well as the full range of BASIC keywords.
